Description
Product Overview
The ZXBMS 4 inch pipe plug is engineered to deliver a reliable, airtight barrier for a wide range of plumbing applications. Each plug is constructed from high‑density rubber that flexes to create a seal while resisting wear, and it is reinforced with a stainless steel wing nut that provides a secure, corrosion‑resistant fastening point. The 2‑Pack configuration offers excellent value for homeowners, contractors, and facility managers who need to address multiple drain points or keep a spare on hand for future projects.
Designed specifically for 4 inch (100 mm) pipe diameters, the plug fits seamlessly into standard PVC, ABS, and metal cleanout openings. The compact 4″ W × 4″ H form factor ensures the plug sits flush against the pipe wall, minimizing the risk of water ingress or debris entry. With a weight of just 0.71 kg per unit, the plugs are easy to handle yet robust enough to withstand the pressures typical of residential and light‑commercial drainage systems.

Usage
These plugs are ideal for sealing sewer cleanouts, floor drains, sink traps, and even toilet connections when performing leak tests or temporary shutdowns. Because the wing nut can be tightened by hand, installation requires no tools and can be completed in under ten seconds, making them perfect for emergency repairs or routine maintenance tasks. The plugs are also suitable for use in chemical‑resistant environments, such as pool filtration systems or industrial equipment that requires a temporary blockage during servicing.
When used in high‑pressure scenarios—up to 6 oz pressure as recommended by the manufacturer—the rubber core expands slightly to maintain a tight seal, while the stainless steel wing nut prevents the plug from loosening over time. After use, the plug can be cleaned with mild soap and water, then stored in a dry location for future applications. This versatility makes the ZXBMS pipe plug a go‑to solution for both residential DIY projects and professional plumbing contracts.
